This application is for organizations that have been invited to apply following review of a Letter of Inquiry, or organizations that received an award in the last 12 months from the LaCentra-Sumerlin Foundation. Please read the instructions below carefully before completing the form.

This application is by invitation only.
You are eligible to apply if you meet one of the following:
- Your Letter of Inquiry has been reviewed and you have received a formal invitation to apply, or
- Your organization received a Carpinteria Fund grant within the past 12 months — you are pre-approved and should have received your invitation on July 15th.
Not yet invited? Submit a Letter of Inquiry to be considered. If you believe you should have received an invitation, contact us at carpinteria@lcsf.org.
Before you apply
- Please review the eligibility criteria and grant guidelines for the Carpinteria Fund before submitting your application
- Applications submitted after September 1, 2026 will not be considered for the 2026 cycle
- Submit one application per organization per year, unless otherwise invited by LCSF to submit more than one — include all program requests in a single form
What happens after you submit
- We review all applications received before the September 1st deadline.
- We may follow up to request a conversation or additional information during the review period.
- Award decisions are announced in November 2026. We are not able to provide detailed feedback on applications that are not funded.
